Soccer, track and other similar sports certainly have unique and important value. Karting, on the other hand, is fundamentally different. As parents with a 10 year old racing, we do not go to spectate. We, as a family, are the team: Crew chief, mechanic, cook, consoler, cheerleaders, counselors and sometimes out of control! We are learning to deal with the successes, failures and mistakes. So...we get to enjoy great competition, my son has developed many memorable friendships but together we learn many important lessons that help us be better at being ourselves.

We can't thank the racers and members of the Central California Kart Racing Association enough for the great opportunity they provide. And, I would like to specifically thank the Ron Perry family.
