Spirit & Intent

All standards contained within this website are written with the concept of Spirit and Intent in mind. This concept allows for the production of fair and consistent events. Officials have the right to interpret a situation, operational or technical, to the best of their ability by referring to these rules and the spirit and intent of the standards presented here. If you are unsure of a regulation or are considering a technical gray area, please contact CCKRA directly for clarification prior to moving forward. (Reference: NKA 10.1.1)

Championship Series Rules
  • Must be a member of CCKRA by June 21st to be eligible for year-end awards.

  • 7-race series with 1 throwaway race.

  • Disqualifications cannot be used as a throwaway (exception: mechanical DQ approved by the Race Director).

  • Must compete in a minimum of 3 Championship races within your class to be eligible for year-end awards. The Colby Dubato Memorial is not a Championship race.

Consumable Specifications
  • Spec Tires: Evinco (see class table for specific compounds and sizes).

  • Spec Fuel – 2-Cycle Classes: VP-C12, VP-MS98L, or Sunoco 112.

  • Spec Fuel – 4-Cycle Classes: 91 Octane pump gas (station location TBD per track). Ethanol-blended fuel (E10) is permitted. Briggs & Stratton recommends non-ethanol fuel for optimal LO206 performance but it is not required.
